Description:
Palmate, deep red. Excellent color retention. Leafs out up to two weeks later than 'Bloodgood' to avoid frost damage in northern climates, also grows more rapidly. Most can't tell the difference between 'Emperor I' and 'Bloodgood' when fully leafed.
