Small, slow growing, upright tree. The most interestingly shaped leaves you are likely to see on a maple. The unique leaves have 11 to 13 fused lobes, forming a disk shape with protruding points. Bright chartreuse leaves in summer turn a brilliant orange-red in fall. Best color comes out when planted in full morning sun followed by afternoon shade.
