Description:
Snow-white flowers in May-June are produced on the terminals of the new growth. Handsome grey-brown-amber bark is exfoliating. Tendency to be upright and tree-like is unlike its more common relative, C. virginicus. A show-stopping specimen in bloom. Dark blue fruit ripens in September and is attractive to birds.
