Description:
Deep pink, nearly red floral bracts lighten as they age. Color is striking, and the most vibrant of all colored Kousa cultivars. The newest introduction from the dogwood breeding program at Rutgers. Fruit is typical for a Kousa, and new growth can have splashes of purple.
