Selected from a 70-year old tree in Washington DC; has proven Dutch elm disease resistance. Creates a large umbrella-shaped crown once mature with wide, strong branch angles. Leafs out earlier, and retains leaves longer than other cultivars. IMPROVED NATIVE.
