Description:
Considered the modern day replacement for American elm, maintaining a vase shape with many ascending branches. Foliage is serrated like elm, but more narrow, turning yellow-orange to bronze-red in fall. Beautiful bark is smooth grey in youth, becoming fissured with age. Wind and drought tolerant. Good lawn, street, or park tree. Vigorous.
